Still can't decide on which hotel in The Woodlands

I%26#39;m still having trouble deciding where to stay in the Woodlands!

I have read that it%26#39;s a very safe community, but i guess i%26#39;m still a little concerned about after the concert at the Pavilion and how i%26#39;ll get back to the hotel (unless it%26#39;s the Marriott Waterway) which i know is very close but at the moment its almost double price of the other close contenders - Hilton Garden Inn %26amp; Courtyard Marriott.

Can anyone offer me any advice? Should i just pay for the Waterway Marriott for convenience? Or will it be ok and I%26#39;m just being paranoid? lol

Normally i%26#39;m fine with these things it%26#39;s just that i%26#39;ll be on my own!

BTW, i won%26#39;t have a car.

Thanks

I really think that you%26#39;ll be fine at any of thhose properties. The Woodlands really is a very safe area.

I just contacted the Hilton Garden Inn about shuttle services. They said there would be shuttle service to all concerts and I called the number they gave me to confirm this.

I was told by the transportation company that they would service all the hotels there for the major concerts ( I confirmed NKOTB, isn%26#39;t that what you are coming for?). The shuttle is $5 per person, each direction.

Enjoy the show!!

It is pretty safe but will be a loooong walk to the other Hotels. I am not sure if the water taxi runs that late and also how close you can get to a Hotel. But KNR has found some valuable information for you - so you should be all set.

If the Courtyard Marriott is the least expensive and you can get a shuttle to/from the concert, I would say just stay there. We stayed there last fall and it was just fine, no complaints. I think it would be a fairly long walk though.

While you%26#39;re staying in the Woodlands, be sure to check out The Market Street-Woodlands shops. We enjoyed walking around this outdoor area of upscale shops and dining. www.marketstreet-thewoodlands.com Cafe Express is good for lunch and Coldstone Creamery has delicious ice cream. There are lots of other dining options in the area as well. We also had a great meal at the Cheesecake Factory by the Woodlands Mall.

I hope you have a great trip!
