Where to stay right on the beach in July?

We are planning a famlily vacation with our twin toddlers (just under 2) to SPI the second week in July. They have never been to the beach so we know they%26#39;ll love playing in the sand all day.

We are trying to find a place to stay with two bedrooms, kitchen, and directly ON the beach- first floor. It%26#39;s important for us to be right on the beach and the first floor so that we won%26#39;t be tied to the inside of our condo during naptime and early bedtime (we can take our monitor right outside our door). We have really been having diffulty finding a good place at a reasonable price.

What is your price range? There are several condos that fit your criteria but some are more expensive.

Try to find a place at La International. They have a door that leads right up to the beach and some of their condos are nice. They are VERY affordable compared to some of the other beachfront places. You are looking at high season rates so your best bet is to shop around by calling all the condo rental places and asking questions. Be careful. BEACHSIDE is not the same as BEACHFRONT so dont agree to BEACHSIDE then freak out cuz it is not beachfront. There are two sides to the island. BEACHSIDE faces the gulf, BAYSIDE faces the bay. Unscrupulous rental agents will take their liberty with you not knowing the difference and booking you a beachSIDE condo. When U get here %26amp; U find out what the difference is in terms, you might be so disappointed it would ruin your trip. Be careful %26amp; book right.
