vacation rentals?

Has anyone dealt with tropical texas vacation rentals? We are looking at one of their units the Las Verandas #205. If anyone has any info, I would appreciate it greatly.

Have never dealt with that rental agency but Las Verandas is one of the newest complexes on the island. It is on the north end of town and is not on the water. It is close to the Holiday Inn Express and looks quite attractive from the outside. It is not a large building.

We stayed at the Gulfview II condo and booked thru Tropical Texas Rental. We stayed for the month of Feruary. Everything went very smoothly, we were able to bring linens and towels to their office to exchange for laundered. On valentine%26#39;s day they delivered some Valentine cupcakes to our unit. The staff were very nice. Unfortunately we did not book with them for next winter as they wanted to book the unit for 2 or 3 months not the 1 month we required. The taxi driver did not know where the rental office was so be sure and have the address with you if you are flying in like we did.

Thank you for your kind reply. I was able to get a satellite view of the unit with the google map using the info that you provided. Now our only concern is the swine flu; has there been any cases of the H1N1 viral infection at SPI? We are traveling with young babies and the grandparents. Thanks again for your help.

Short answer...no.

We stay no where but beach front at SPI. The convience of dragging our stuff out and keeping it out for the day. We usually keep our stuff out for the day and can see it from our condo.

I love waking up and seeing the ocean and drinking my coffee. I then go for a walk down the beach.

Too me, it is worth the bucks to go beach front.

we tend to stay condo on the beach as we find very convenient. We use sundtde 3 (there is 1,2 and 3). We stay in condo 403 which 3 bed room and share with our friends. The unit is recently remodeled and the The condo also has a indoor pool (comes handy in winter and when really hot!). WE book directly with suntide 3
