Inexpensive Suite by IAH

I will be flying into IAH after 30 hours of flight with a 2 and 5 year old. We need a hotel with a shuttle from the airport as we won%26#39;t have a car. We will all have jet lag, so I%26#39;d like a suite or somthing where someone could sleep while someone else doesn%26#39;t. I prefer to save money as much as possible. Any suggestions?

Inexpensive Suite by IAH

Hi Lisa,

As with most hotels near airports, the ones by IAH are a little more expensive. Look on hotels.com and also the la Quinta website for good prices.

Try this link:

They show a good rate, and this is a newer hotel. Call the hotel directly for shuttle info, and how to notify them when you%26#39;ll need a ride to their property.

Hope this helps!

Inexpensive Suite by IAH

Hi L,

TA reviews look good; the poster had kids too! :)

Most of the motel chains now have suites and offer a shuttle from IAH. You pretty much have all of them close to IAH (plus several hotels). As suggested by the previous post try hotels.com, kayak.com, expedia or similar site.

Got Country Inn and Suites. Thanks a million!

Just an update. We stayed at Country Inn and Suites in Humble. They are mostly a business person%26#39;s hotel but were wonderful with my kids! The shuttle arrived for us in about 5 minutes, the driver handeled all of the bags. The front desk was very helpful. The pool was open until 11PM and again at 6AM (great for jet lagging kids) although it was a little cold. Breakfast was nice. Beds were very comfy. All in all a great experience. Worth the little extra to get a suite so some of us could sleep while others didn%26#39;t (again jet lag).

Thanks for reporting back! You should do a review of the place. :-)

Thanks for your input. Which more ppl would do so.
