We are thinking of heading your way for a week. We always come at Spring Break and stay with my parents at Casa. We are looking for something a little less expensive than that this time but we want to be within walking distance of the beach. Any ideas? Thanks

Try A Laughing Horse Lodge,Port A. Check them out on trip advisor. Its our favorite place to stay, however not if you want a pool. Sandy and Lloyd are the best management you could ask for.

We stayed at Casa last year in a 2 bedroom 2 bath condo. I really liked it because the 2nd bedroom had 2 queens, and since there was 5 of us, the 5th person didn%26#39;t have to sleep on a sofa bed. Last weekend it was just 3 of us and we stayed at Island Retreat. The reviews were ok and since we were only there for 3 nights we stayed in an efficiency-#149. It was similar to a hotel room with a kitchen but it was roomy and the beach was just a short walk over the walkway. If you go to www.portaransas.org and go to stay %26amp; play you can see the rooms available. We had a great experience there and would recommend it.
