patio furniture shopping in/near McKinney

Will be in area for weekend and want outdoor table. Where should we look in or near McKinney?

It really depends on your budget and what you are looking for. If you are talking about buying traditional patio table, the locals would probably just go to one of the big chains - Lowe%26#39;s, Home Depot, Target, etc. There is a Casual Living store (http://www.casuallivingltd.com/) at 7225 N. Central Expressway on the west side by the theatre but it seemed pretty pricy. There is a rustic furntiure place on the East side of the highway on the south side of McKinney and you might have some luck there but I%26#39;m not sure what you will find in the way of tables.

Since you are looking for outdoor stuff though, you might enjoy checking out D%26amp;J Pottery on McDonald Street (Highway 5). They have some fantastic Mexican imports.

Here%26#39;s a weird tip -- the Ace Hardware at 1700 W Virginia has rustic coolers that I think are made here locally. Very nice.

There%26#39;s also some places downtown that often have interesting stuff. There%26#39;s one place across from Mama Emelia%26#39;s that had really neat stone artwork for the yard (and home). I think it is called Tom Levy%26#39;s Stone Creations. I%26#39;ll double check and post back when I have a good name for you on that one.

This is too late if you came this weekend but the name of that store is Tom Lavy%26#39;s Stonewood Creations. He doesn%26#39;t have a web site that I can find. His store is chock full of neat decorative things that can go outdoors or in. You could toss a dart and find something you couldn%26#39;t do without.

Wow! Thank you so much for the info. We will be back in the area in July, and I plan to visit the sites you suggested. You were very helpful!
