Natural Bridge Cavern for a 3 yo and 22-month

Is the Natural Bridge Cavern one of the places to go to with a 3 yo and a 22-month? Will it be too boring for them?

We went here last year when my son was 2 1/2, he was actually a bit scared down in the cavern. I had to hold him the entire time because he was so afraid, he wasn%26#39;t crying or screaming, but just unsure of the surrounding.

I haven%26#39;t beent here in years, myself....but we%26#39;re going as a family in 2 weeks and we%26#39;re definitely taking our 3 year old. I think she%26#39;ll like it and I love it when she wants me to hold her (reminds me of her baby days :-). We%26#39;re also doing the Wildlife park there....I think she will LOVE it!!!

The caverns would not be boring, but perhaps frightening for your youngsters. There is a wonderful drive-through wildlife park where the children could see various animals from the safety and security of your vehicle. The children would also enjoy the San Antonio Zoo, which has a butterfly pavilion and many interesting and well-done exhibits. Also, the Witte Museum is a great science-oriented museum with a treehouse and many interactive exhibits for children.

I personally would not take any child under the age of 12 into the caverns. They are safe and interesting, but can be overwhelming to a youngster.

My nephew who was 20 months %26amp; niece was 2 1/2 %26amp; they both enjoyed it very much but totally enjoyed the Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch a lot more.
