American Girl Store and Bistro

Hi,

Has anybody experienced the American Girl Store and Bistro at the Dallas Galleria? I am wondering if dinner is worth it and if the shopping experience is easy to buy my daughter a doll.

Thank you

It depends on how old your daughter is as to whether or not it is ';worth it';. I do know that it is highly popular and the good folks there make it very easy to drop some serious money on dolls and accessories. If you look at the Bistro and aren%26#39;t impressed, there are many restaurants within the Galleria that rate a look like the Grand Luxe but if your daughter is seriously into American Girl dolls, then you know what you need to do.

We have not been to the Dallas store, but we%26#39;ve been to all the other stores and had a great experience in Chicagoat at the cafe. Lunch was $22 per person and they served fruit kabobs, salad, finger sandwiches, drinks and little dessert plates with 3 or 4 different items. They have cute seats for the dolls that attach to the table and the service was very good, they really try to make the girls feel special. I would recommend it if you%26#39;ve never gone before. I%26#39;m sure you can get better/more food at nearby places, but the experience is fun, like eating at a fancy hotel dining room %26amp; the girls feel grown up in the old-fashioned, make-believe kind of way, not the growing-up-too-fast kind of way.
